Overview
iba was a digital e-commerce platform for books, magazines, and newspapers, operating as an internal startup within Grupo Abril, one of Brazil’s largest media groups. The brand was created by an external agency, and the in-house design team was responsible for building and applying the visual identity across all brand and marketing materials. I was part of that team for 1 to 2 years, working across digital and print touchpoints.
The challenge
Each Popload event had its own audience, tone, and format, and needed a distinct visual identity while still living within the broader Popload brand universe. Managing multiple event identities in parallel, each with its own set of deliverables and deadlines, required strong organizational skills and a clear creative process.
My role
Working as a sole freelance designer, I created the visual identity for each event from scratch and developed the full range of promotional materials, including digital and print assets, social media content, and presentation decks used to pitch and promote the events to partners and sponsors.
Deliverables
- Visual identity creation for Popload GIG, New Sounds, and other events
- Digital and print promotional materials
- Social media content
- Presentation decks for partner and sponsor outreach
